Hunter Product Lines

Hunter’s gear-drive rotors cover medium and large turf: the PGP Ultra is the popular residential workhorse, while the I-20, I-25 and I-40 step up to heavier-duty and commercial ranges. For spray zones, Pro-Spray bodies pair with the MP Rotator. It is a multi-stream nozzle that applies water slowly and evenly for matched precipitation and less runoff.

On the control side, Hunter controllers run from the everyday Pro-C and X-Core up to the Wi-Fi Hydrawise platform (Pro-HC, and X2 with the WAND module) for weather-based watering from your phone. Round out a system with PGV and ICV valves plus Solar-Sync and Rain-Clik sensors that trim watering in wet weather.

Hunter FAQ

What’s the difference between the Hunter PGP and I-20 rotor?

The PGP Ultra is Hunter’s most popular residential gear-drive rotor, with a top-adjust arc and a wide nozzle set. The I-20 is a heavier-duty rotor built for larger or commercial turf, with a longer radius and more nozzle options. Use the PGP for most home lawns and the I-20 where you need more reach or durability.

What is the MP Rotator?

The MP Rotator is a multi-stream, multi-trajectory nozzle that threads onto a spray body in place of a fixed nozzle. It delivers water in slow, even rotating streams at a low precipitation rate, which reduces runoff on slopes and tight soils and helps every head in a zone match.

Which Hunter controllers have Wi-Fi?

Hunter’s Wi-Fi watering runs on the Hydrawise platform. The Pro-HC and Hydrawise controllers are Wi-Fi out of the box, and the X2 adds Wi-Fi when you fit the WAND module. All let you adjust schedules and use local weather data from the app.

Will Hunter parts fit my existing system?

Yes. Hunter rotors, Pro-Spray bodies and MP Rotator nozzles use standard female threads and common riser and swing-pipe fittings, so they mix with most in-ground systems regardless of the original brand.
