How to Choose a PVC Cap

A cap closes off the end of a pipe — to terminate a run, cap a future zone for later expansion, or seal a line for pressure testing. Schedule 40 Dura PVC, slip socket, in ½″, ¾″ and 1″.

Solvent-weld the cap onto the pipe end. If you may want to reopen the line later, leave a threaded fitting or a union instead so you do not have to cut. Sold individually or by the bag and box.
