How to choose a swing joint

A swing joint is a jointed riser that connects a sprinkler head to the lateral pipe through several flexible elbows. Those swivels let you set the head height and position precisely, and they absorb impact - so a mower or a kick pushes the head down instead of snapping the pipe.

Match the swing joint to your head and pipe: our assemblies come in 1/2 in., 3/4 in., and 1 in. inlets in 6 in. and 12 in. lengths. Use a longer joint where you need more reach or depth, and choose the inlet size that matches your rotor or spray-head body.
