Rain Bird’s gear-drive rotors span the 5000 series for everyday residential turf, the compact 3500 for smaller lawns, the Falcon 6504 for large or commercial areas, and the Maxi-Paw impact pop-up. For spray zones, 1800-series spray bodies pair with R-VAN rotary nozzles for even, low-runoff coverage.
On the control side, the ESP family (ESP-TM2, ESP-Me3, ESP-RZXe) adds Wi-Fi and weather-based watering with the LNK module. Complete a system with DV, PGA and PEB valves and XF dripline for beds and borders.

The R-VAN is an adjustable rotary nozzle that delivers slow, even rotating streams. It threads onto a standard 1800-series spray body, and you set both the arc and the radius by hand. It is an easy, water-saving upgrade from fixed spray nozzles.
Add the LNK Wi-Fi module to a compatible ESP controller such as the ESP-TM2 or ESP-Me3. You can then adjust schedules and use local weather data from the Rain Bird app.
Yes. The 1800 series uses the standard female-threaded spray body, so it accepts Rain Bird and most other brands’ spray and rotary nozzles, including the R-VAN.
Both are gear-drive rotors. The 5000 series throws farther and suits larger turf, while the 3500 is a compact rotor for smaller or medium lawns. Match the rotor to your zone size and available pressure.
