How to Choose a 45° PVC Elbow
A 45° elbow makes a gentler change of direction than a 90°, which keeps flow restriction lower and helps route a line around an obstacle. Schedule 40 Dura PVC, slip × slip, in ½″, ¾″ and 1″.
Use a pair of 45s to offset a run sideways, or a single elbow to ease a line into a trench angle. Solvent-weld the slip sockets with PVC primer and cement, and let the joint cure before pressurizing. Available each, by the bag, or by the box.
