Hunter PGV-101-ASV 1-inch anti-siphon valve

The PGV-101-ASV is a 1-inch anti-siphon electric valve. The built-in backflow protection mounts the valve above grade, so it doubles as the zone's atmospheric vacuum breaker. Flow control lets you dial the zone in at the valve. This SKU ships without a solenoid.

When to use anti-siphon

Reach for an anti-siphon valve when local code wants backflow protection at each zone and the valve can sit at least 6 inches above the highest head. Install it above grade, not in a box. For an in-line 1-inch valve with a slip connection, use the PGV-101-G-S globe valve. Add a matching 24 VAC solenoid, since this SKU ships without one.
