Point-source emitters press into 1/4 or 1/2 in. tubing to water individual plants. Drippers release a slow, measured flow (rated in GPH) at the root zone; micro-sprays and micro-sprinklers throw a fine pattern for groundcovers and closely spaced beds.
Pressure-compensating emitters hold their rated flow on slopes and long runs; non-compensating emitters cost less but vary with pressure. Match emitter count and flow to each plant’s needs and your zone’s available GPM, and keep pressure in the drip range with a regulator.
